Abstract
The paper focuses on the text Or che la terra di bei fiori è piena, which is attributed to Ariosto by Fatini’s critical edition, but is given to Tebaldeo by a manuscript, as Paola Vecchi Galli has remarked. The essay shows how various echoes from Petrarch, Saviozzo, Giusto de’ Conti, Boiardo mix themselves into a typical example of Italian courtly poetry and highlights the links with the vernacular corpus of Tebaldeo, who is influenced by the same models and in particular by Boiardo’s Amorum libri and is likely the author of the text.
